About Therapy Advance Courses
Therapy Advance Courses was created by school-based therapists Kristina Geraghty, MS, OTR/L, and Lauren Catellier, MS, CCC-SLP to offer affordable, relevant postgraduate courses to help professionals move up the salary guide while building practical skills.
All courses are self-paced, manageable, and designed for school-based SLPs, OTs, PTs, and educators who want practical, impactful learning while earning graduate credits to advance on the guide.
Meet Lauren
Lauren is a school-based speech-language pathologist and co-founder of Therapy Advance Courses. With over a decade of experience working in schools, she understands the real-world challenges therapists and educators face—tight schedules, limited resources, and the pressure to keep growing professionally while managing it all.
Lauren is passionate about making high-quality professional development more accessible, affordable, and actually useful. Her goal is to help fellow school-based professionals move up the salary guide without taking on more stress. She brings her deep understanding of evidence-based practice, practical application, and real-life therapy work into every course she helps create.
Lauren believes professional growth should feel manageable—and that every therapist deserves support that fits into their life, not the other way around.
Meet Kristina
Kristina is a school-based occupational therapist and co-founder of Therapy Advance Courses. With a background in both clinical practice and educational collaboration, she brings a practical, solution-focused approach to professional development.
Kristina has worked in schools for over 15 years and knows what it’s like to juggle a full caseload while trying to earn graduate credits and grow professionally. That’s why she’s committed to creating courses that are relevant, self-paced, and easy to apply in the school setting. Kristina believes that advancing on the salary guide shouldn’t come at the cost of time, energy, or quality of life.
Through Therapy Advance Courses, she’s helping educators and therapists access coursework that supports real progress—without burnout. Her goal is to help professionals feel more confident, better equipped, and fully supported in their work.
