This graduate-level course delves into strategies and methodologies for enhancing gross and fine motor skill development in students with Down syndrome. Designed for Occupational and Physical Therapists working closely with individuals with Down syndrome, this course aims to deepen one’s understanding of gross and fine motor development and how it is impacted in this unique student population. This course aims to equip professionals with the specialized knowledge and practical tools required to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with Down syndrome, specifically focusing on refining their gross and fine motor skills to enhance their school functioning and activities of daily living.
